Aditi Vashist

Doctoral Candidate, Organizational Behavior

Aditi is broadly interested in power, inequity and resistance within and around organizations. Underlying this research is a focus on issues relating to status-laden characteristics such as race, gender, class, and immigration status. Her work focuses on how these aspects of individuals’ identities influence communication, relationships, and belonging in workplaces. Aditi aims to bring critical perspectives into organizational studies that would help understand exclusion as a form of social control that results in trauma, with the end goal of uncovering ways in which individuals can generate self and communal empowerment.
