Charlotte Fressilli is a fifth-year PhD student in English and American Literature as well as a Lynne Cooper Harvey Fellow in American Cultural Studies. Her work currently explores how narratives undergirding Italian American and other white ethnic identities post-WWII have shaped, been shaped by, and become entangled with white supremacist logics. Her interests include 20th/21st century American literature, race and ethnicity studies, whiteness studies, and memory studies. She is additionally interested in American literary engagement with fascism during the interwar period.
