Gloria Fall is a PhD student in sociocultural anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis. She is interested in exploring how whiteness shapes eating disorders through diagnosis, treatment, and lived experience of these illnesses. Her work examines the intersections of race, gender, class, sexuality, and ability under medical frameworks, while looking beyond the clinic in order to better represent the eating disorder experience within the world of research.
