Haley Kaplan

School of Medicine/Occupational Therapy

Haley Kaplan is interested in research in improving health equity—specifically in acute care and rehabilitative processes. Her proposed research examines the racial and ethnic differences in post stroke rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary research project. As a CRE2 graduate fellow, she plans to discuss past and present systemic issues within research and pedagogy with her colleagues. Kaplan hopes to design research that explores social determinants of health that mediate racial/ethnic disparities in post-stroke health outcome.
