J. Dillon Brown specializes in Anglophone Caribbean literature, with a particular interest in how the politics of race and nationalism get articulated via cultural production. His work engages with postcolonialism, transnationalism, diaspora, immigrant literature, globalization, world literature, the emergence of Black and Asian British writing, and the ongoing Caribbean entanglement with both British and American imperialism.
