The mission of the Knight ADRC is to accurately detect, and eventually to defeat, Alzheimer disease in all people. We thus are committed to including individuals from groups under-represented in research in all of our studies, and to examining whether some groups are at differential risk for Alzheimer disease or have different disease expression. We also wish to explore the role of social determinants of health on disease risk and expression.
