Work on race and ethnicity has resulted in the edition of two collective books (forthcoming).

  1. Constructing the Racial “Other” in Latin America- Coordinated with Miguel Valerio. Encompasses 16 chapters on racial/ethnic issues and developments from colonial times to the present.
  2. Poetics of Race (Mabel Morana, ed.) on symbolic representation of race in Latin American literature, arts, performance and cultural practices.
