The Washington University School of Medicine advisory group is charged with making recommendations to the CRE2 leadership team on how to promote and integrate CRE2 initiatives on the WUSM campus. At the same time, this group will strategize about how to engage both campuses in mutual initiatives. The group will also provide recommendations for how CRE2 can support activities that increase visibility of research on racial disparities in health across the departments in the medical school; that strengthen community partnerships with agencies focused on reducing racial and ethnic health disparities; and that provide students, residents, and trainees increased awareness of the role of race and ethnicity in determining health outcomes through curriculum, training, and research opportunities. This group will meet throughout the inaugural year of CRE2 to achieve these goals.
