CRE²Announces New Program: The CRE² Visiting Fellow in Residence Program for Civic Leaders and Scholars.

The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity (CRE²) at Washington University in St. Louis is proud to launch a new initiative: the CRE2 Visiting Fellow in Residence Program for Civic Leaders and Scholars.

This residency invites a prominent civic leader or scholar whose work aligns with CRE²’s mission to foster rigorous scholarship, creative practice, and meaningful community engagement. The Fellow will collaborate with CRE² and Washington University partners to curate and host a robust slate of public and campus-facing events usually over the course of the semester.

Program Highlights:

  • Curated Programming: The Fellow will organize and participate in events that engage both campus and community audiences in dialogue around critical issues of race & ethnicity.
  • Collaborative Speaker Engagement: The Fellow will help recruit and invite other notable figures to join campus conversations and public programs during their residency.
  • Strategic Advising: The Fellow will consult with CRE² leadership on strategies for community engagement and local partnership-building.

We are thrilled to launch this new program and look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and connections it will foster.

Stay tuned for updates on our inaugural CRE2 Visiting Fellow in Residence Program for Civic Leaders and Scholars and upcoming events!
