The Washington University School of Medicine welcomes Argentina E. Servin, MD, MPH.

Argentina E. Servin, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health, Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Dr. Servin is a bilingual and bicultural clinician-researcher with training in preventive medicine, infectious disease and clinical epidemiology. She received a Medical Degree and Master’s in Public Health from Universidad Xochicalco in Baja California, Mexico. She has completed extensive post-doctoral training, including: the mini residency training program at UCSD’s AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC); a fellowship examining the intersections between HIV and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine; an NICHD K23 grant; and a NIDA R25 fellowship focused on the ethics of HIV and Drug Abuse
Prevention Research.
