Ekua Inkoom is interested in different forms of diplomatic engagement and practices, particularly public and cultural diplomatic practices in the context of Spanish-African relations and affairs. She is especially interested in formulations and performances of African-related narratives in the Spanish diplomatic context, and the forces and dynamics involved especially considering the prevalent African migration to Spain (and Europe).
