Known in part for their unique work in arts education, Flamenco Vivo will led a workshop for students and faculty to learn about flamenco as a multi-faceted art form permeating the Spanish speaking world, and try out some dance steps, too.

Following the workshop, WashU scholars of dance, music, and Hispanic Studies will sit down with Flamenco Vivo to explore the connections between dance, ethnicity (and musical influences across ethnic divides), poetry, and migration.

This event is free and open to the public.
