The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity (CRE2) is requesting nominations / expressions of interest for tenured faculty colleagues to serve in the role of Associate Director (AD). We seek to appoint three ADs—representing both the Danforth and Medical school campuses—to join the Center. ADs are members of CRE2’s leadership team. They design and develop portfolios that advance CRE2’s mission (see below); that further the ongoing goals and initiatives within the Center’s core areas of research, learning, and community; and that can enhance Washington University’s leading role in the study of race, ethnicity, and equity regionally, nationally and globally.

Please send nominations or a letter of interest (1 page) and CV to cre2@wustl.edu by July 17, 2023. These will be reviewed by CRE2 leadership.

CRE2 Mission

CRE2 brings the research force of Washington University to study how race and ethnicity are integral to the most complex and challenging issues of our time. We believe in field-defining research, innovative learning, and strategic engagement that will transform scholarship, policy, and clinical interventions where race and ethnicity are at the center
