Adetunji Toriola ensures that minority populations are adequately represented in research studies where he serves as the PI. This involves targeted and focused recruitment of Black/African American participants/patients into cutting edge molecular epidemiology studies, hence, scientific advances accomplished as a result of these studies will be applicable to Black/African American participants/patients.
