Anj Barrett is broadly interested in children’s social cognitive development. Her research focuses on children’s selective social learning, specifically the epistemic and social factors at play in children’s trust judgments of unfamiliar individuals. Anj is particularly interested in understanding how race influences the selective nature of social learning, and looks forward to exploring these relationships while working with a diverse group of children across the St. Louis area.
