Cilka Bidwell is interested in 1) the racial/ethnic self-identification of children of immigrants and 2) interracial/interethnic relationship formation. She is particularly interested in how relationships, and the varying opportunities to form them, both shape and reflect the racial/ethnic self-identification of Filipino American young people.
