Clinical Fellow, School of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Pediatrics

Claudia Gambrah-Lyles’ research is dedicated to addressing health inequities in neurological disorders by developing innovative strategies that mitigate barriers to care and improve patient outcomes. Her work moves beyond describing disparities and focuses on delivering actionable, evidenced-based interventions that prioritize equity-centered care, ensuring that all patients – regardless of race or ethnicity – can achieve optimal health outcomes. Currently, she is investigating racial, ethnic, gender-based, psychosocial and systemic factors influencing transition readiness in children and adolescents with multiple sclerosis and exploring ways in which technology can empower and prepare these patients for successful transitions to adult care.

Claudia’s career goal is to combine her expertise in neurology with applicable knowledge and understanding of public health, behavioral science, technology and dissemination and implementation science to drive transformative change. She aims to create scalable solutions that reduce disparities in neurological care, improving outcomes for diverse populations worldwide.
