Jackie Lorrainne

Associate University Librarian

Jackie Lorrainne oversees the University Libraries’ planning, operations, and administrative services division and recently completed her doctoral studies in Higher Education Leadership. Her research focused on the perceptions, experiences, and self-efficacy of Black college students with autism. This study used an autoethnographic approach to examine the relationships between the intersectionality of multiple marginalized identities and the services and support for autistic students at higher education institutions. She continues her advocacy and research to bring awareness to autism in the African American community.
