Kathryn Wilson works on (and teaches) issues relating to systems of race existed in antiquity, especially Egyptians and Greeks in Ptolemaic Alexandria and colonized Greeks living under Roman rule. She also works on how classics and ancient world has been used and racialized in modern systems of race.
