My research examines the impact of economic resources on child maltreatment risk and children’s mental health and how financial support policies alter those effects. I pay particular attention to the immigrant population, seeking policies and programs that target risk and protective factors related to race/ethnicity, language, immigration status, and country of origin. I answer those questions by linking and analyzing cross-sector data at the individual, geographic, and time levels.
