Maria Siciliano

Maria researches post-45 US-based literatures, critical race and ethnic studies, and trauma and affect theory. She has particular interests in notions of memory and forgetting and focuses on literary form and direct address through a cultural studies framework. She considers the role of art which depicts suffering and the ways this affects the positionally of an audience, particularly in representations of racial and ethnic experiences.
