There are significant disparities in the prevalence and health outcomes of people with diabetes based on race and ethnicity. Paulina Cruz Bravo is interested in studying and developing frameworks to advance health equity. She is currently developing a proposal to incorporate health equity domains into an existing implementation science framework. She is also doing a meta-analysis of community-based interventions for diabetes and hypertension control among minorities.
