Ri’enna Boyd (she/her) is interested in how intervention research, alternative forms of perinatal care, and community-based and -led methods can address social determinants of health and health disparities for Black birthing individuals, children, and families. She has a strong passion for reproductive justice and hopes to utilize her research to inform policy. Her training as a culturally congruent community doula has deeply informed her interests and determination for social change. Her dedication to reproductive justice drives her desire to inform policy through her research.
