Tashalee R. Brown is broadly interested in the social determinants of mental health, with a particular focus on the role of racism in racial/ethnic mental health disparities. Her research examines the impact of clinical training on the identification of eating disorders in race/ethnicity, sexual and gender minorities. She is also interested in designing and implementing evidence-based interventions to address physician bias in mental health care.
