My research is focused on Latino families involved with Child Protective Services (CPS) in order to be inclusive of these forgotten experiences. Literature is currently lacking in focusing on the Latino population in CPS which leads to misrepresentation and misunderstanding of what Latino families experience in CPS. Additionally, the lack of research can lead to the production of prevention and intervention services that do not cater to Latino families. This is why my research is focused on this population.
