Yongseok Shin studies economic inequality in the United States and one of the most salient dimension is race/ethnicity. His focus is on how technology and higher education can amplify as well as compress inequality in general, and also across racial/ethnic groups. In a new project, he is studying the impact of COVID-19 across the racial lines in the United Kingdom.
